Overnight

The F_E_D's Lockhart speaking in Japan says QE3 cannot be taken off the table.

Greek Syriza party leader Tspiras says in European interviews, he's "Open to talks" regarding the Euro-zone and sees good relations with new French President Hollande.

Non-Comercial net shorts in the Euro are the highest in the Euro's history.

As for the Euro and ES overnight...
After an initial surge on the Sunday night open, the Euro backed off, but still remains positive enough to be supportive of the open this a.m.

ES overnight saw some distribution right after the EU opened after moving higher earlier, there's now a positive leading divergence as the market opens.

The SPY gapping up this a.m. to about a +.50% gain.

I don't think there was much in the way of news to move Europe overnight other than Tspiras's Euro-freindlier comments, I believe this is still related to the Euro being higher than the market's legacy arbitrage correlation.
