University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Misses Big

Released On 3/15/2013 9:55:00 AM For Mar, 2013
PriorConsensusConsensus RangeActual
Sentiment Index - Level77.6 77.5 73.0  to 80.0 71.8
According to Bloomberg, the 71.8 print vs consensus of 78 (77.5 above) is the biggest miss to consensus on record, at least with Bloomberg.

A separate reading on the 12-month economic outlook underscores the lack of confidence in the economy's direction, falling 17 points to 70.

The report did move the market, although it had already taken a substantial hit.

As of now all intraday 3C futures are in line with the move lower.

The 3C charts aren't surprising in their findings so far, some are a little better than price on an intraday basis, but where it counts, they seem to be right on with price movement.

I'll post them next, however the IWM has turned negative
