A Quick Look at Financials

It's been a while since we have looked at Financials. I'm going to show you the intermediate 15 min and 60 min charts and in both long/short and leveraged longs and shorts; the confirmation is interesting and I think clear enough that the charts need no annotation.

The very common "new" ascending/descending triangles. This is a bearish ascending triangle, however unlike what Technical Analysis has taught for decades, the patterns don't break at the apex, instead they either post a false break out and then go lateral or just go lateral, eventually they fail as the pattern suggests.

Here's what financials have done since coming out of the wedge.

This is the 15 min XLF chart in this lateral area.

This is the inverse of XLF, SEF (Short Financials). Remember this is the short ETF for financials, the negative divergence in XLF and positive in SEF is confirmation.

Leveraged 2x UYG long financials... I think the 3C trend is clear (15 min)

2x leveraged Ultrashort SKF (15 min).

On the 60 min chart, FAS 3x leveraged Long Financials

60 min 3x leveraged Short Financials, FAZ

Confirmation through and through.
