OBL's death and initial market reaction

It seems that the death of OBL has sent overseas markets higher. As always, initial reports are rather sketchy, although the president seemed to clear it up a bit. I believe it was last week that the US had authorized the sale of Predator drones to Pakistan. I found that to be a little strange, but who knows what's what and why at this point?
