Libya's Rebels are making gains

We've already discussed the dangers in Libya with or without Gadhafi as a fractured tribal society (i.e. Rwanda 1995-800,000+ dead in 100 days). However, from some of the outrageous statements Gadhafi has made, one wonders if he doesn't hold the ultimate trump card once the rebels move into Tripoli (currently they have taken territory bout 50 k.m. from tripoli and Gadhafi's government and military are joining the protesters). However, it is widely believed Gadhafi still has a large supply of aged Scud missiles and mustard gass to fill them with (i.e. the Iraqi Kurds). Lets hope he pulls a Hitler first (as he's been rumored to have been considering suicide before defat).
