EIA Nat. Gas Report / UNG

This morning's 10:30 EIA Natural Gas report was pretty mediocre, there was a slightly larger injection than expected.

The 77 bcf was more than consensus of 75 bcf.

You may recall Bernie's semi-annual testimony before Congress in which out of left field a Congressman asked Bernie a question about Natural Gas and energy independence, I remember it clearly because it was so out of place in the discussion, not the kind of question that you'd expect and was asked more rhetorically like a commercial for natural gas.

In watching the Presidential debates last night, every time I heard "Energy independence", I kept thinking UNG.

In any case, the short term UNG charts aren't moving much on the report, there is still an open gap in UNG around the $21.35-$21.55 level.

Other than that, not much to report in UNG thus far except I still love the position as a long term long position.
